So...the first group have problems related to anxiety over the disease and the effects of the lockdowns, such as job loss or isolation.
The second group are mostly the elderly or others with comorbidities who already have higher risks of both strokes and dementia.
I’d need to see lots more specific data before I even casually accepted this report.
Just read the paper. The 33% headline is a lie. The lie is simple: they don't tell you in the headline that flu patients did poorly too, so the 33% is really about 10%. (blue is flu)
