Dark Money = Communist $$$?

Wasn't there a word for this type of activity? Started with a "T" ended with "reason"?

Then again the U.S.A. is now a third world Narco type state, where elections are rigged, everyone in government is on the take, and criminals rule.

Dark money is money spent on political activities by non profits that don’t have to identify their donors.

The non-profits disguise the political activities by calling is some social cause.
Reform on these groups is badly needed.
