Yesterday, the State’s PAID WITNESS, another ‘Use of Force Expert’ admitted on cross-examination that ‘HOG TYING” Floyd would have been an ESCALATION of the use of force and Chauvin’s decision to NOT hog-tie Floyd - even though Floyd’s actions clearly warranted that technique - was a DESCELATION of the use of force.
Had they hog-tied Floyd, would Floyd still be alive? No, he would not. Why? Because he had THREE TIMES THE FATAL DOSE of fentanyl in his system along with no less than three other Schedule III drugs.
George Floyd died of a drug overdose, nothing else.
I think hog tying would have removed the police department from culpability.
Instead we have a cops knee on a mans neck.
The man died.
