You are right, there is no reason they can’t. I think they do for the most part. But they are probably not as foolish as we are. Some of them just pay them off for peace, as well as for peace of mind. It is foolish to just give them money. They are not even really a government. Haven’t had a real election in what, 12 years? Hand them cash? No way. If the people need antibiotics and protein and vitamins, sure we can help. Cash for “security services” for a “government” that is brutal and preaches hatred and hangs dissidents off lampposts? Buzz off. That’s my opinion.
