Governor Gavin Newsom denied on Wednesday that California's reopening has been motivated by the recall effort against him.
Newsom was asked on CBS This Morning if the recall petition against him has "influenced" any of his decisions on the response to the coronavirus in California.
"Absolutely not," Newsom replied. "In fact, quite the contrary. We're just focused on the data, disease prevalence. I'm focused on what's actually happening on the ground."
"We can now begin planning for our lives post-pandemic. We will need to remain vigilant, and continue the practices that got us here—wearing masks and getting vaccinated—but the light at the end of this tunnel has never been brighter."

They had me asking, “So you’d rather have Biden?” (Actually, with Biden, it’s actually Kamala Harris running everything with a parade of kooks through her office all the time, just like Buttcrack Hussein. It’s really the presidency of Acorn or whatever they’ve turned into, Al Sharpton, the muslim brotherhood, I’m sure the list of liberal scumbag organizations is long and distinguished.)
Yes, and they were adamant that Biden won. They seemed strangely incurious about the hinkiness of the election. I think someone got to them.
Some Biden voter said "When everyone has been vaccinated, then people are just going to rebel against this crap."
