I read that article carefully. The officials being interviewed were circling the wagons around the vaccine narrative before the first question was even asked.
They want to start attacking the numbers by looking at antibody count, which would indicated infection (maybe last year) prior to vaccination. This way they can extract that case from the vaccine failure stats.
At this point, nearly everyone probably has antibodies from prior infection, since most infections are not symptomatic.
Regardless, 3 deaths from 246 infections smells rather a lot like the same as it would be for unvaccinated people, and that is a conclusion that cannot be allowed.
I did not read the article but am wondering whether these 246 were all vaccinated with the same vaccine and at the same location and/or dates, or whether there were other issues in common (age, race, underlying medical conditions).
Maybe there was a batch of ineffective vaccine or some vaccination site was just using water or some other anomaly related to administration of the vaccine.
