This defense lawyer guy does a great wrap up after each day's testimony.
He leans pro-defense but is fair.
You have to lean pro-defense in this sham trial.

Good, fair coverage of the trial. No paywall.
Very impressed with their fairness.
The cop killed him.
Bump for this. Andrew Branca’s summaries on this trial are excellent. I recommend bookmarking his page at LI and checking it daily during the trial, if you want to follow it closely but in minimal time.

Scroll past his bio and you’ll get his posts in reverse chronological order (most recent first). Which will basically be Chauvin trial posts for now.
It doesn’t matter how good a job the defense does. He’s going to be convicted.
If by cop you mean fentanyl and meth, then yes.
There shouldn’t even be a trial . All the evidence proves innocence, same as in the George Zimmerman case. Prosecutors are politicians, either afraid of the lynch mob or members of it.

You got you matches and gas ready bucko?
I said at the time it went down the cops involved would be overcharged and the would walk. I may be right.
The DA may have had a shot at manslaughter but murder? No way...
It’s been revealed as evidence that Floyd had enough Fentanyl in his system to kill SEVERAL healthy people—-and he was not a healthy person.
More like negligent homicide, but he will be convicted of murder.
Talking about reality in this case is waste of time. Everyone has made up their own and they aren’t budging.
Not negligent homicide. Floyd was recorded on body camera footage as saying “I can’t breathe BEFORE he was in custody & was being subdued. Moreover, the cop was following procedure right out of his police manual......and the ambulance as on its way BEFORE he kneeled on his neck—as he was taught to do. Negligent homicide requires intent , also. calling an ambulance , then following official procedure cannot either be called negligence in arresting a criminal who deserves to be arrested. Floyd was begging not to be arrested and sent to prison. That’s the call of prosecutors in courts, with judges and juries, not street cops, whose job it is to enforce the law and protect the innocent from the guilty criminals
Transcript 4/5/'21 excerpt:
Chief Arradondo (MPD):
A conscious neck restraint by policy mentions light to moderate pressure. When I look at exhibit 17 [the image of Chauvin kneeling on Floyd's neck] and when I look at the facial expression of Mr. Floyd, that does not appear in any way, shape, or form that that is light to moderate pressure.
Prosecutor:
So is it your belief then that this particular form of restraint, if that's what we'll call it, in fact violates departmental policy?
Chief Arradondo:
I absolutely agree that violates our policy.
I wouldn’t make any predictions until after the defense puts on their case.
I understand your view...But I’m not on the jury, so I can indulge my notions.
All this for 20 bucks! I mean we’re spending a heck of a lot more on this trial. A ticket was justifiable. Make it 100 bucks.
But we don't know how many pounds per square inch defines the maximum Moderate Pressure that Officer Chauvin was permitted under policy guidelines.
That number should be defined and all LE Officers required to wear pressure-measurement pads on both knees.
