I too love that book and the movie. I’ve always felt that it is one of them more realistic depiction of children and how they talk and live ever written. I can never see Robert Duval as anything but one of finest actors of our time. Boo Radley was an avenging angel, in my eyes.
But when thinking about this book festival...which I just might attend given it will be held a $1.10 train ride from me...I'd love to know how the book is perceived. If the Maoists can tear down statues of Lincoln they're capable of doing anything in the name of "anti racism".
