This was a deliberate attempt to cast a cloud over DeSantis simply because, after Trump, he is the leading contender to be the Republican presidential candidate. There ought to be a law!!!

Up to us now to get this distributed out to the people who need to know they are being lied to; that is a one-by-one job, and it’s up to us.
There may very well be a law, but it won’t be enforced the same way for both sides.
Like a lot of laws against such things, maybe this is another law that needs to have some real teeth put in it. Too much law breaking that is basically getting swept under the rug. Of course, that then leads to even more law breaking, since people see that it is often just not punished or the punishment is so light it is almost non-existent. How much does it mean to a large corporation breaking a law that leads to a fine? You need to add some very public humiliation in there for the guilty parties.

Spot on. I was discussing the 2024 race the other day with a co-worker, and we both thought the ticket should be Trump/DeSantis. If any health issues arise for Trump (he’ll be pushing 80), just step down and let another solid conservative take over.
