Maybe a third of our contact cases said they must have gotten it from a gas pump but a third of our cases initially lied to us about where they had been. One person said they never left the house and later said they went to the beach twice just before getting sick.
The eyeopener for me was reading the meat plant story from Germany. We had it in our meat plants too. But in theirs they had temperature checks, hand washing, sanitized surfaces, mandatory masks and distancing. And they had one or two superspreaders (possibly just one). In the end they said the single layer masks were no good but in reality they have no idea how to stop it.
