Ukraine is preparing to hold joint military drills with NATO forces amid a renewed threat of escalation in the ongoing conflict with Russia.
“On this path, we have everyone’s full and permanent support,” stated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. “Support by Ukraine’s international partners, by Europe and United States in particular.”

It’s always hilarious to watch the, “no more wars” crowd, put their heels up when Putin revs up the tanks to see if he can take a country.
It’s a nonsensical position to say that we can’t be involved, but Putin or Xi or whoever, can take what they want.

Note that when NATO revs its tanks up, it’s no different than Putin doing it. Most likely it will thwart Putin from attempting to take eastern Ukraine.

I don’t want a war with russia. I don’t see what could be gained for our national interest by having our boys bleed out on their soil. Make no mistake; these are not third world peasants without aircraft. Our troops could be facing massive artillery (the russians love artillery), air attacks and highly motivated ground troops on their own turf who believe they are protecting mother russia. I know the “bright boys” in charge believe our technology is far superior to theirs, and I guess they’re willing to bet your sons life on it.
But, Ukraine doesn't try to piss on Russia every chance it gets and then turns to us for help?
This idea Putin is Hitler and Russia is the old Soviet Union is absurd. These two countries don't like one another and Ukraine is just as much to blame.
What if Russia and China cut a deal whereby Russia seizes half of the Ukraine and China seized Taiwan? Biden is compromised every which way here. Corrupt deal with Ukraine. Elena Baturina (Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov’s billionaire widow) gave Hunter millions. And of course the entire Biden family is in China’s back pocket. We’d be so screwed.
Russian forces occupied large sections of eastern Ukraine, with armor, until Trump sent Ukraine, tank killing weapons.
Russia does not want to pay a price, they are a failed economic state, that will take what they can pick off the low hanging tree.
Sending arms and running a few military exercises, may be enough to keep Russia from illegally taking more territory.
