What’s always missing in the vaccine discussion are the many things that can be done to combat covid if you get it, things that are proved to be highly effective. I would consider the vaccine if there wasn’t any other options, but there are many other options. The problem is that they are options that will not put 100 billion in the coffers of big pharma elites, and because of that they effectively get blacklisted.

https://c19ivermectin.com/ Click on the various links at the top for studies done on each of the covid treatments they have compiled studies for.

Check this out too.
https://www.evms.edu/media/evms_public/departments/internal_medicine/Marik_Critical_Care_COVID-19_Protocol.pdf

There are doctors who say many could have been saved with these treatments. The one person I know personally who died was in a assisted living center and they did nothing for him when he got covid. He’s one of the 140k or so that died without medical care like that described by EVMS and the C19 site. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid_weekly/index.htm#PlaceDeath

There’s plenty of information on these boards about:

1. How to build and keep up your immunity.
2. How to treat COVID-19 infection.
3. How to PREVENT COVID-19 by vaccination.

Smart people are knowledgeable about and practice all three.

Dumb (or possibly malevolent) people go on a jihad about one or more of the three.

Ivermectin is ineffective for those with severe illness. It can be somewhat effective for those in early stages of illness. It’s not reliable as a treatment and it’s certainly no cure.

I notice that the one actually effective treatment is missing here: monoclonal antibody therapy. That’s what President Trump got when he was hospitalized with COVID-19 and it worked. Why is that not listed here?

‘Sup House - Smart post. Though a little concerned about how efficacious the vaccines will be against variants. I am not a scientist, but some bright people are raising red flags. We will see. cheers

Yeah the pros and cons get pretty zealous about it, like a religion.

why doesn’t the cdc mention anything about the health hazards that the biden administration has created by opening up our southern border and distributing thousands of potentially dangerous disease carrying invaders across our country???...

Yep, the anti “Build-Up-Your-Immunity” crowd are pretty bizarre. The “Building-Up-Your-Immunity-Is-Good” crowd seems pretty reasonable over all. ;-)

For many susceptible hosts, Covid susceptibility has nothing to do with “building up your immunity”. Their thymus gland is no longer equipped to cope with novel pathogens like “the novel coronavirus” due to a well known phenomena known as thymic involution. Specifically, these are elderly people I’m talking about. they’re pretty good at fighting old pathogens that they have encountered in the past but new pathogens are a challenge.

I wonder if some estimate of percentage of population with immunity could be calculated.
Something like:
Percent of population with at least 1 shot 2 or 3 weeks ago
plus
percent of population with with recovered from covid (minus the percent of them already counted above)

I also wonder if such a number could eventually be plotted against the new cases number.

Nearly all locations will be finished vaccinating the special categories of people during the next few days and will be vaccinating all who want to be vaccinated. Well over half of the U.S. population will probably be vaccinated within the next month. That will be most of the adult population. By the end of May, nearly all of the adult population will probably have been vaccinated.

So far the people I know who have completed their 2-shots are very satisfied.

I know I’ve inundated with you with vaccine questions but did I ask what your thoughts were on the AstraZeneca clotting hoopla? I hope Moderna/Pfizer are here to say in US as options for forseeable future should I get one. (As that’s why most people around me have had to high approval.) But I do have family and friends in countries where Astra is one of the ones offered. And just wanted to know your thoughts.

Sorry if you’re repeating yourself.

As a natural living/natural diet adherent from childhood-and someone who doesn’t do vaccines because of a history of extreme reactions going back to childhood-if you don’t have bad reactions to vaccines, and want to do it-then get the Wuhan virus one-it is a choice-one size does not fit all-and it looks to be as safe as the annual flu shots, so far...

Because I do have extreme reactions to vaccines, it is important for me to keep a healthy immune system-I’m a healthy living nut and that is part of the regimen along with the work-outs, physical job, maintaining a low-end body weight/healthy muscle mass and paleo diet...

Part of the recommended natural healthy living is keeping your thymus gland in good working order as an important part of a healthy immune system-a natural diet-no processed food-is recommended-one that includes 6-8 servings of veggies like cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, etc per day-exercise to keep up good circulation is a must as well, and the usual health-nut stuff-keep off the extra weight, eat a balanced diet, avoid the processed sugar and carbs in everything from sodas to bread, etc. I like living this way, but I’ve been doing it since childhood-it isn’t for everyone-some of my neighbors/friends say they would rather be hanged-they think I’m a masochist...

I had a mild case of the Wuhan last Spring-got rid of it with a natural remedy-I live and work in a remote rural area, but it was Spring break and tourists were all over here, booked in the riverfront cabins-it was the 1st time I’ve been sick with anything in more than 5 years-even an allergy-and I’m well over 65...

Go to mercola.com and watch the video with Dr. Thomas Levy and Dr. Mercola on nebulizing hydrogen peroxide
Why would someone risk their health or life on some quickly concocted vaccine that is EXPERIMENTAL and even the FDA admits they do not know what the long term side effects will be.
