Pathogenic priming, appears to be similar to antibody cross-reactivity when presented epitopes produced from the processing of proteins of pathogens are to a degree homologus (they look the same to the immune system) to human host proteins and thus cognate immunoglobulins reared for their ability to ligand a pathogenic epitope can also bind to self proteins and target immune responses towards them
