No, he bought a company built by a family for 75 years almost destroyed it from the beginning. Then he bought a similar company in CA. And moved to CA.
In about 20 years the CA company lost more money annually than the original Texas company made, to the extent that both of them went bankrupt. (they had intertwined officers)
The Texas company made 1 million bottom line, the year before both were liquidated. With that he bought “intellectual property”. (the good names and trademarks of old American companies)
He thought the future of the world was in the ChiCom’s hands.
I worked for the Texas company twice. Was “a” VP the company when I left the first time. And I walked away from it, because of what was happening.
The 2nd time I worked for the Company, I rode it down. Very sad to see a fine old company destroyed.
Both Companies are gone. Up in smoke for CA dreaming with the ChiComs.
