The folks who run The Masters are part of the PGA.
Further, blacks and Latinos have very little power or influence in the PGA where most of the top players are White. The one great black golfer, Woods is about the least woke top black athlete I know.
There is no percentage in the PGA allowing themselves to be turned into puppets for the terrorist BLM.

“Woods is about the least woke top black athlete...”

Disagree. He has made his money and now enjoys the freedom of silence to things. But that’s not the way it has always been. Racial jokes in locker rooms are in all sports clear down into youth competitions. But they were just fun, not serious. And everyone was spotlighted. I can remember around St. Patrick’s day a few rubber snakes getting into lockers during a baseball season in 1967 at my high school for those of Irish decent. I got one.

But the pros, with their money and connections can take it to extremes...again not being nasty, just a little fun. And in some sports, like the rookie hazing in pro football, the can get crazy. But it’s not done in malice.

His destruction of Fuzzy Zoeller concerning a joke Fuzzy made after a Masters win by Woods that was assisted by Jesse Jackson after Woods laughed it off right after the comment but getting the call from Jackson went 180 the next day. He didn’t give Zoeller a break until a week later when he said he had “concluded that no personal animosity toward me was intended”, but that hardly meant the comment was forgotten.

But Woods’ 180 comments cost Zoeller financially in the form of several canceled sponsorship deals, and personally in the form of damage to his reputation. One example was Kmart cancelling his club and apparel contract. If Woods would have continued to laugh at it as he did right after it, it would have been no big deal.

In 2013 Sergio Garcia made the exact comment about Woods and hardly anyone knew about it.

2011 — Steve Williams
At the 2011 caddies awards party in Shanghai after Adam Scott won the Bridgestone Invitational, Steve Williams was asked about why he called the win the “greatest victory of his career.” He responded by saying he badly wanted to beat former employer, Woods. “I wanted to shove it up that black arsehole.” Woods and Williams eventually made amends.

Early in his career he was very racially aware and was being used to some extent for racial purposes. Earl Woods had made no secret of the fact that he expected his son to become the greatest golfer of all time, as well as forever change the game that had historically been considered a sport for upper-class white people. And Woods said on Oprah in 1997 that he could end up being bigger than all-time Majors winner Jack Nicklaus because of the impact he could have in the Black community.

Woods is just as much a part of the racial changing that happens all the time as the next man. I credit him for making the effort to stay out of it these days, but like I said, it wasn’t always that way.
