It’s all virtue signaling unless they cancel the Masters at Augusta, but we all know that won’t happen.
FWIW, the PGA Tour doesn’t really have anything to do with the Masters, at least not from an organizing standpoint. It’s organized and contested absent any involvement from the PGA tour. In fact, I’m almost certain the Masters uses their own rules committee (made up of members, I believe) and on-course officials borrowed from the USGA and the Royal & Ancient.
