Yep and I really wish people would quit hoarding it. I need more of it. Lol. I do wish the ammo suppliers could make more. And I know it’s legal and all but around here we have people that get calls or texts when the ammo arrives at the store (from employees) and they get there and buy a bunch or all of it and sell it at local gun shows for double or triple the cost. I have seen 25 dollar boxes of 22 ammo going for 75 bucks.
Being old and wise because of previous experience one learned years ago to be self reliant in times of crisis if it finally hits the fan.
I was able to acquire a couple boxes of 5.56 for under a buck a round and I was pleased.
Do people still make their own ammo?
Eventually the prices will come back down. I haven’t bought any ammo in a year and I’m getting really low in some calibers but I refuse to pay these ridiculous prices.
I’ve learned my lesson. After the ammo shortage under Obama I swore I would build up a stockpile of at least 10,000 rounds. Now I see that was not enough. When prices come back down, I will build up a stockpile of at least 25,000 rounds so that I can go for years and years without buying any if necessary.
