Many years ago coming home from the West coast I learned our house had burned down. As I arrived on our street I saw the cars lined up to view the damage.
It was extensive. Lighting had struck. My wife was at the grocery store I was on the west coast. All the local fire trucks came and went with the last load of water sprayed being "salt water," a really bad thing for reconstruction.
Over the next few years as we rebuilt I once again confirmed what was important in life as did my wife and daughter who was in college at the time.
We all need a good basis for living. It has to start with one's religion. If not your house is built on sand. Build it on rock with the Lord almighty and his son Jesus! Works for us.
It is very simple! True belief and faith in Christ, gives us hope, healing and salvation.
