Seems like there was at least one other person involved. I think his name was Mike Pence or something like that. It'd be nice to hear his and the other members' take on what all happened.

IF Florida does 200,000 test one day and Michigan does 500,000 the results are different...
I think Pence was overly pragmatic about his role. He listened to the “experts” and made recommendations based on the advice he was given. My biggest fault with Pence (and Trump) were that they did not shake things up when the contradictions began or the data did not show a benefit vs costs.
I will give Pence high marks in implementing the logistics of addressing the pandemic. Pence was by all accounts responsive to requests by states and at the President’s request, he kicked some things into high gear.
This is a good article that offers a counterpoint. There are many more highly qualified experts such as Dr. Atlas who have been largely ignored by our media. I wish Trump had NOT elevated Fauci and Birx, but it did not seem like he had much choice.
