Not exactly. The globalist “free market” liberaltarians elbowed out all the traditional Republicans from leadership because taking over the party apparatus is doable for a small committed contingent of zealots. These guys out-sourced like there was no tomorrow and they dragged the country into their utopian “citizen of the world” idealism. The country rebelled and Trump was elected.
Liberaltarians are Left. The Left took over the Democrats, and the Left libertarian-Republicans took over the Republicans. We’ve had a choice of Left or Left. Thats what happened. If the Left Democrats ala Clinton feed China all kinds of American jobs and tech the only redress the public had was to vote for Left Republicans ala Bushies, which will feed China more American jobs and tech. The globalist Left agenda continues to be pushed forward, uninterrupted. This author is part of the problem. You aren’t going to find solutions with “free market” reforms as long as there are communists in the world because I’m pretty sure the Soviet Communists are the architects of this trap.
