“McCarthy was right.”

I’ve said this for years.

Back before it became a capital offense to do so.

When liberals and media started mainstreaming evil and made it popular.

Pretty simple. One liberal gets a job. Limbs the ladder a little bit. Hires more liberals. They pay low for a while and then, when the time is right they all bust out at one time.

Because people are morons and easily prone to latch onto any media-driven hysteria.

It is a weakness of human nature - to be so easily fooled and to easily fool ourselves. When Adam and Eve were told that that can be like gods, they effectively gave way to the birth of PT Barnum - one sucker born every minute.

“Contrary to what the media tells us, most people just aren’t interested in these cultural abnormalities.”

Most people in Russia weren’t interested in the cultural abnormalities Marx and Lenin were spouting. Not until it was too late to save them, anyway. Never underestimate what a small very determined group of people can do to a society.

Don't count on it.

I live on a farm in rural Florida. Folks around here won't tolerate this Marxist crap.

The cancel culture believes in persecuting people who have offensive ideas – by getting them fired, by silencing their writings and their speech, by silencing their access to the Internet and through social ostracism.

... And physical threats.

The problem comes when your sons and daughters go to public school, college, or work in corporate America. This is where the leftist indoctrination/ humiliation occurs

Just like they won’t tolerate massive election fraud and our country being invaded. Like they won’t tolerate the new, ginormous migrant caravan on the way.

I’m not here to argue with you. But the cancel culture has bigger fish to fry right now. Big business. Major sports. Education.

It may never work its way down to your part of rural Florida. Hope not. But don’t think it can’t or won’t, if it feels the need.

And until your Governor, as good a job as he’s done, and all the other Republican Governors unite and stand as one bloc to stand up to and stop this insanity, it’s only going to get worse.

Cancel culture has been trying to gain a foothold for decades. This started with MLK, Jr.’s boycotts, which made sense at the time because in the South the black population was a significant consumer group that could ruin businesses if they chose to stop buying. It worked, so boycotts became the favored avenue for change. Through the decades there have been a variety of methods tried to replicate that early success. For a while they lied to much larger groups, like evangelical Christians, about fake offenses against Christianity by brands like Coke or Pepsi. If you googled “boycott” snd the company name, invariably you would find an earlier boycott called by LGBT or else for alleged racism.

The game was and is to find a way to control the buying choices of the larger group to serve the agenda of the smaller groups. The weakness of this approach is that the smaller groups have let power go to their heads and they are working assiduously to orient the nation’s culture against the larger group. The libertarian-Republican globalists showed them the way in a sense, because they sold out the voters and hollowed out the country, and this was done through national elections. So larger group (nation) controlled by libertarian left and right. All other ideas were deplatformed.

This has done a number on traditional culture because the Republican party represented traditional culture but was in fact taken over by the Left, the utopian libertarian “free market” zealots. People are practical, when something no longer works they look for other options. They also want to punish liars. Unfortunately, they also may be willing to entertain the enemy of their enemy being their friend. People need a better option, and that option is pragmatic fiscal conservatism. Just get real, and if legislation won’t work, point out why that is. Until sanity is restored the zombies will continue to destroy the economy.

“The slow march through institutions” is beginning to reach their evolutionary peak.

Not sure what the author is on, this cancel culture crap/plus a lot more destructive nuances were spelled out/imported in the United States mid-1930s when critical theory was pushed in intelligence departments, the State Department, and higher academia. Flash in the pan examples the author pointed out missed what was happening underneath within the foundation of government and the private sector.

That article is too long for me to read.

Think of color revolution of the sort that George Soros invokes.

On the main gate, the motto Jedem das Seine (English: “To each his own”), was inscribed. The SS interpreted this to mean the “master race” had a right to humiliate and destroy others.

“Jedem das Seine” (German pronunciation: [ˈjeːdm̩ das ˈzaɪ̯nə]) is the literal German translation of the Latin phrase suum cuique, meaning “to each his own” or “to each what he deserves”.

(The 76th anniversary of the liberation is upcoming on the 11th.)

The internet gave these horrible, democrat party people a platform to magnify their hatred of others.

The promise of free stuff. There are 2 ways to get stuff - work for it or steal it (in person, or by your vote). Guess which is easiest?

Ever see/hear a screaming kid in a grocery store, where the parent stays silent, or even gives them whatever they want just to silence them?

...that and...

Evil wins when good people do nothing.

This problem you describe applies to none of my family. Past all of that.

My kids are all middle aged adults and don't work in the corporate world.
