The stadium isnt in Atlanta. They moved out of the city a couple years ago into a very pro gun GA county. Atlanta wishes the Braves the worst.
Wonder what city will host the All Star Game? Would local MLB team be willing to piss off a large sector of their fan base? My guess is that there will be no All Star Game. Covid don’t you know.
The trend for the All Star Game in tv ratings is not good. There was no 2020 game but the 2019 game got a total of just under 6 million households watching and just over 8 million total viewers. To compare the peak that I could see is 1980 with over 20 million households and 36 million total viewers. 1976 had similar numbers.

I waited 42 years to “see” the Dodgers finally win another Championship*. I didn’t watch one pitch of it. I won’t be watching one pitch this year either. Flick them.
