(President Trump's Operation Warp Speed Update)
(Over 100 Million Americans have now received at least a first dose)
Total Vaccine Doses Delivered: 204,719,335 (8,318,100 J&J)
Administered: 157,606,463 (3,617,377 J&J)
People Vaccinated, At Least One Dose: 101,804,762
Fully Vaccinated: 57,984,785
(Excerpt) Read more at covid.cdc.gov ...
Doses Delivered: 4.2 million (Good day) (422,000 J&J - high by historical norms, but far below expectation and contract levels)
Total Administered: 4 million (Huge day) (187,000 J&J - high normal)
New People Receiving 1st Dose: 2.2 million (Very Good)
People Fully Vaccinated: 1.9 million (Very, very Good)
Strong inventories on hand (47 million).
% Total Population with at least a First Shot: 30.7% (up 0.7)
Those ≥ 18 Years of Age (Adults): 39.2% (up 0.8)
Those ≥ 65 Years of Age: 74.4% (up 0.7) (53.5% Fully Vaccinated - up 1.5)
Cases up slightly, deaths slightly downward on this report. New hospitalizations relatively flat.
100 million (priority vulnerable and essential)) people vaccinated, was a key threshold identified by Operation Warp Speed.
It will be 3-4 weeks before they are fully vaccinated, but it is now baked into the cake that we won't have a new wave of mass fatalities, or overwhelmed hospitals from COVID-19. Cases, perhaps - but not something that justifies lockdowns.
The beginning of the end.
I doubt that we have reached the peak rate of vaccination yet.
J&J has yet to really kick into gear, and Novavax and AstraZeneca are still possible to jump in at high rates.
Pfizer and Moderna both plan to keep increasing their rate of production.
Yesterday was reported as 4 million shots administered. I won’t be surprised to see 6 million a day (or more) at the peak, which I’d expect in May or June.
The very peak week of the annual Flu shot (in Sep) runs about 3 million per day.
Well, this is good to know, Thank God! I’ve been sleepless for.months, and chewed my nails down to the nubs. My suicide watch therapist is optimistic that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
“Covid Vaccines top the list of all vaccines listed in the CDC’s database after only 3 months of startup”
...but over 150 million doses of COVID vaccines were given - probably a hundred, or a thousand times more, than most (if not all) of the others on that list.
Not sure how it is on a national level, but in CA we still have a major bottleneck in our distribution system. Many of our “Super Stations”, where they have set up for large scale vaccinations (5,000+ per day at a single site) are closed several days every week due to running out of doses. Smaller vaccination sites are seeing similar shortages. Yet we now have a 47M dose stockpile. Meanwhile here in CA, COVID hospitalizations and ICU admissions are nearing the pre-pandemic levels we saw in March 2020.
In a few months, when new cases have virtually disappeared, will we finally see the end of 1) the mutated virus scare stories, 2) masks, 3) pressure for the distrustful to get the vaccine, 4) Dr. Fauci?
“...but over 150 million doses of COVID vaccines were given - probably a hundred, or a thousand times more, than most (if not all) of the others on that list.”
Are you serious?
The VAERS report for the all the diphtheria vaccines grouped together shows 482 deaths since 1980, from DECADES of them being used, many millions more than covid vaccines.
The covid vaccines hit 3.38 times that number - in five months.
Is the diphtheria vaccine given to very many people in their 80S?
The 47M dose stockpile is essentially reserved second doses, for those who have received first doses.
So if we are running at an average of 2 million first shots per day (which we now roughly are), we would need 3 weeks worth (42 million) if they were all Pfizer, 4 weeks worth (56 million) if they were all Moderna - 49 million if they were half each.
The single shot J&J likely accounts for the couple of million lower inventory, than the 50/50 mix.
Inventory should keep increasing, as the rate of first shots (of the tw0-shot) vaccines continues to increase.
“Not sure how it is on a national level, but in CA we still have a major bottleneck in our distribution system.”
Demand still outstrips supply, Nationwide.
When eligibility is opened to basically all adults over the coming weeks, another big crush will likely develop for a month or two, until the eager beavers get through the line.
CDC says 94% of those dying “from covid” died with an average of 2.6 comorbidities. A morbidity is something that can kill you. But they are all counted as covid deaths anyway. How about we count the same way for covid vaccine deaths? Note they aren’t being counted the same way, even by people here on FR. We are being played for stupid.
Remember diphtheria vaccines along with many others have been given to every child since the 1980s. Many millions more doses than covid.
If Covid is a big deal then the total number of deaths should rise, regardless of what bucket someone decides to assign it to.
I think total deaths did rise above normal seasonal variations.
“The VAERS report for the all the diphtheria vaccines grouped together shows 482 deaths since 1980, from DECADES of them being used”
...after the cases have been investigated, and those found to be coincidental were removed.
“VAERS data is limited to vaccine adverse event reports received between 1990 and the most recent date for which data are available.” (https://vaers.hhs.gov/data.html )
The COVID vaccines were overwhelmingly given to those on death’s doorstep (e.g. assisted living facilities where life expectancy is in the months), diptheria is overwhelmingly given to the young.
Going for my first Pfizer next week.
“...probably a hundred, or a thousand times more”

Probably? Just makin’ it up as you go along. ANything to push the narrative.

I see childhood vaccines on that list. You think mothers are declining vaccinations of children, and schools are allowing it, in small numbers, for decades? I don’t think so.
