Doses Delivered: 4.9 million (Big day) (1.1 million J&J - Very high)
Total Administered: 3.4 million (Very Good day) (123,000 J&J - typically low)
New People Receiving 1st Dose: 2 million (Good)
People Fully Vaccinated: 1.5 million (Very Good)
Strong inventories on hand (47 million).
% Total Population with at least a First Shot: 30% (up 0.6)
Those ≥ 18 Years of Age (Adults): 38.4% (up 0.9)
Those ≥ 65 Years of Age: 73.7% (up 0.2) (52% Fully Vaccinated - up 1.2)
Cases and deaths inflecting slightly downward on this report.
Essentially, the 100 million priority folks estimated as key by Operation Warp Speed are now through the line for their first shots. Eligibility is opening to the unprioritized very rapidly, across the Country (mostly the first half of April).
J&J deliveries are way up from prior weeks, but still well behind what the White House said to expect. Their production problem with sub-contractor Emergent recently caused them to trash 15 million doses worth of production.
According to the FDA, there is NO FDA APPROVED vaccine to prevent COVID.

According to the FDA, there are three FDA AUTHORIZED vaccines to prevent COVID.
It’s also entirely possible that food or water supplies could be poisoned or infected, for massive-scale depopulation.
Air too.
Fake news!
There are NO FDA APPROVED VACCINES TO PREVENT COVID according to the FDA. See FDA factshhet, paragraph 2:

“Fake news!”
Not Fake News!
Notice that I (and the FDA) said “AUTHORIZED”, not “APPROVED”.
Emergency Use AUTHORIZATIONS have been officially granted.
...After rigorous trials and analysis, that have since been confirmed in widespread, real world use.
APPROVAL does not come until at least the 30 month monitoring programs are complete.
Why don’t you take a flight on an unapproved jet?
The fact is no vaccines have been approved yet by the FDA. If you want to take a vaccine or gene therapy that is still in its experimental stages, that is your decision. Just don’t lie about it being approved by the FDA
“The fact is no vaccines have been approved yet by the FDA.”
You say it, as if there is no basis for confidence in the vaccines, whatsoever. That is misleading, at best.
In fact, the three vaccines officially authorized by the FDA were subjected to carefully designed trials. They were granted emergency use authorizations, because they are urgently needed now. The emergency use authorization was specifically designed to address such situations. It requires extensive validation, to very high scientific standards. Established “Approval” procedure necessarily requires longer term study - at least 30 months, which would preclude the ability to meet the immediate Public Health need.
“Just don’t lie about it being approved by the FDA”
You are LYING about me saying that.
Go back and read everything - it is all in black and white. I said AUTHORIZED, which is true - and it is what is pertinent. These vaccines have been extensively tested to ensure safety and effectiveness by the FDA, and formally granted the appropriate AUTHORIZATION. Regulatory APPROVAL is an impossibility in 2021 or 2022, and is not pertinent to the safety or effectiveness of these three vaccines. It is a distinction of bureaucratic terminology.
Quibbling.

There are Authorized vaccines. See the very title of of your link:
EMERGENCY USE AUTHORIZATION (EUA) OF THE PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE
Jeez, you should have adopted ‘The Quibbler’ as your FR user name when you registered. I’m sure that Jim would have AUTHORIZED that name. Hell, he may even have APPROVED it.
I’m 36 hours past getting my 2nd Moderna shot. There was no immediate reaction; then I was headachy and a bit tired feeling starting about 4 hours after the shot, but, that may have simply been due to trying to do too much the day before. (I was trying to get ahead of possibly being out of commission a couple days.)
The headache got worse, accompanied by a “fuzzy” disoriented feeling, and I was running about a 1 deg. high temperature B4 I hit the sack last night, just after 9 pm. (Early for me.) I had slight arm soreness around the injection site location, but it was just noticeable, really. I woke up a couple times to shift arm position (soreness was getting worse) and by 5:00 am when my wife gets up, the upper arm was definitely quite sore and somewhat swollen*, but the headache was gone and I felt quite good, except for the arm / shoulder. If I keep the arm “down” (4:00 - 6:00 position) it’s not bad. But horizontal (3:00) can make me blink and higher gets worse. Putting on a t-shirt undershirt this morning was not enjoyable. It doesn’t seem to be worse since 7-8 am, so, I’m just avoiding stressing it. Oddly, though, as long as I keep the arm down, I can carry heavy stuff with it: I guess that doesn’t stress the deltoid muscle.*
*The front lower portion of the deltoid muscle, somewhat in front of the injection location, is definitely the most tender and swollen area.
I’m experiencing no other adverse effects at this point.
So, anyway, all in all, so far so good. I’m 90% operational and mostly feeling good!
Glad to hear no problems driving, or worse symptoms.
I got a flu shot recently in my bad shoulder, and your pain lifting it sounds very similar to what I had (for about a week).
I expect that I’ll start COVID shots sometime this month, but no word yet.
My arm / shoulder discomfort is worse than any flu shot I’ve received: I’ll be trying to sleep soon and it’ll be interesting to see if I need a Tylenol to be able to get to sleep without being way late on bedtime.
Still, I’ll definitely take this over being badly fatigued all day, the way my wife was after her 2nd Moderna shot.
