Top Senate Republicans on Thursday called for Democrats to hold a public hearing on the border crisis and question Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
“While we may not agree on the causes of or the solutions to this crisis, we believe it is vitally important for the Senate Judiciary Committee to exercise its oversight authority and seek testimony from Secretary Mayorkas and relevant officials at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the Department of Health and Human Services regarding the situation at the border and the Biden Administration’s response to it,” Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and John Cornyn (R-Texas) wrote in a letter.

Like everything else when they had all branches of government we demanded that no amnesty etc ... but all they did was smirk at their base and backstabbed us. I am very very disappointed in governor Abbott who hasn’t lift a finger to stop what’s going with on our borders. Arizona California and Texas are getting the brunt of this massive invasion that cannot be stopped because lack of nerve from our government officials. Instead of them flying them all over the nation why aren’t they flying them back home! The backstabbing of our government against the American people is so overwhelming and heartbreaking!
What crisis at the border?
The MSM hasn’t informed the American public that there’s a crisis at the border, so there isn’t one. The Harris-Biden administration doesn’t say that there’s a crisis at the border, so there isn’t one.
Nobody knows there’s a crisis at the border, and a few Republican senators isn’t going to change anyone’s mind.
But let’s keep flashing up daily CoVid deaths and new “cases”. That’s the real crisis.
