OC is at best a display of liberty, at worst, a snatched gun to be used elsewhere for nefarious purposes.
Been saying that for decades now. I will caveat that “street” OC is what we are discussing. Home, yard, woods workplace as it may be, is fine.
Never wear fruit-of-the loom holster wear....
Attached to the holster with at least Level 2 retention, which is attached to a purpose built belt on outerwear designed for tool or weapon carry. Not tourista clothing.
Glad no one (yet) was shot by the federal felon who stole it from the idiot who wore it.
Good tactics. I do the same, LH firearm carry, RH fighting folder. That’s why God gave me two arms.
Had a young couple in front of us at an AZ Walmart a couple of weeks ago. She was carrying a two year old toddler in her right arm with a crappy open carry holstered pistol on her right hip. Holster didn’t even provide trigger protection. Scary thought what the dangling arm of the toddler could reach.
Beyond that, I don't stop and get gas in Detroit, especially near 7 Mile or Wyoming which go through known rough areas compared to other parts of Detroit. If I have to stop and get gas on a Detroit trip, I do so in Livonia or Farmington Hills.
