Yes, the obviously premature NY Slimes story was put out because this operation wasn’t going according to plan.
They decided its best to get out whatever attack they could against Gaetz.
It’s clear he led a fun single life. Any young woman that was close to being a problem, well, they found one close enough to spit out some fabrications.
Gaetz is aware and he’s also aware there’s no one underage. So he’ll have to stand on that as they fail to name the alleged underage victim.
