Okay, so who is he? And how does he have the ability to know about the operations of a state, or any state, on what crimes have happened?

I’m an out spoken conservative and when people ask me who I think won the election, I tell them I don’t know. And there is no way for me to do so as I am not everywhere and see everything. So anyone that says it is not won or lost based upon irregularities, is a liar or a damn fool.

But, since there has been discovered and verified malfeasance by post office people, voting machine pickups and deliveries, and questions about overseeing large quantities of vote counting, along with the arrest of many people for voter fraud in large amounts, then the reliability of the election is in question.

So Mr. Bastian is either a liar or a damn fool...take your pick. By making the statement, and further insulting the intelligence of his subordinates, he could go either way or both.

Delta sure makes A LOT OF MONEY by the federal requirement of checking ID before boarding a flight (since it makes it nearly impossible to transfer tickets). That used to NOT be the case, before 9-11, I wonder if the good man would give up that requirement - in the name of ‘equity’ for people who fly his airline?

And no, there are NO EXCEPTIONS - don’t show ID, then you don’t fly.

“I can’t say I feel sorry for Kempt. This is the bed the GA GOP made. Now they get to lay in it.”

Unfortunately the nation will suffer along with the GA GOP as the nation becomes a one party state.

Every day it becomes more and more clear most GOP politicians run for office to feather their own nests. They have no core principles they deem worth fighting for. Certainly the dreams and desires of their constituents are of no consequence except during the three months preceding an election when they must pay lip service to the sheep.

Does Delta have some "values" that I don't know about?

Does Delta require its mechanics to show ID before entering the hangars, or is it racist not to assume everybody on the street has an equally valid opinion on jet engine repair? :)

What has Delta got to do with GA election law?

Headquartered in Georgia and therefore the possible boycott target. They're getting ahead of the issue.

They’ll go bankrupt in a year since liberals either go on private Jets or won’t pay for a ticket without a government subsidy.

Well...the first part of your statement,,,is wrong unless you mean VERY RICH Lib's.

The second part is PLENTY of libs fly...just like you and I. And they ain't getting a subsidy.

Bingo!

There is an element of the Georgia election law issue the Left is fully utilizing. There are a lot of easily excited people in the Atlanta area and thus within Delta's employ. Delta's public reversal is a C-level corporate response equal to big city store-keepers boarding their windows well in advance of riots.

But there is a better explanation, and those who may have missed Soul of the South's #41 upthread would benefit from a quick read. The threat is not just faced by Delta or Atlanta alone, it presents as a rapidly growing problem currently facing our entire nation.

So Mr. Bastian is either a liar or a damn fool...take your pick.

There is always the possibility he was compromised or coerced.

To formally declare there was "no wide spread fraud" given the information in the public domain regarding both Georgia and the nation unnecessarily overstates the issue.

Further, to opine the legislation "restricts voting rights" is wildly irresponsible for a CEO. The legislation may restrict voting to eligible participants but it does not violate voting rights.

“To formally declare there was “no wide spread fraud” given the information in the public domain regarding both Georgia and the nation unnecessarily overstates the issue.”

Which is my conundrum. How big is the ice berg under the water we can’t see? And are there a lot of them scattered all over the country? If we accepted only the incidents that were made public, there may not be a difference. But we have no idea, and neither does Bastian, how many incidents and how big they were. And knowing hat I’ve seen, they could have been hundreds of thousands of votes at any of the voting location of the all fifty states. And I’m guessing they were there.

So why not look? Hand count all votes right now. If Biden won, it makes no difference. If Trump won, it is huge with the need for arrests, trials, and incarcerations. I don’t make the rules. But the ones there need to be followed and not ignored. That makes it the enemy of the people and the friends of the politicians. And that’s not how our system of government is supposed to work.
