It worked for the election, it was always ‘baseless claims of election fraud’ even in stories about election fraud being prosecuted. (Typically amended later in the article of ‘not enough fraud to make a difference in the election.’)
That was the brilliance of it. The pinnacle of ‘community organizing was that individual pieces of such a puzzle would never be enough to sway the election and that the plot - nay, the CONSPIRACY - could never be proven.
It certainly didn’t hurt to have both the media and government law enforcement/intelligence agencies aligned with the ‘ideology’ of the plotters...
