Plenty of people do want the vaccine, almost 30% of the country have already taken it and their is a long waiting list to get the vaccine.

No it isn’t btw. The mRNA does nothing to or with your genes. Although, it is probably possible to use an mRNA strand to alter a chromosome by coding for a “transposon” aka: a jumping gene. I think the J&J vaccine would be better suited for that though since it uses DNA and a viral vector. Not sure though.

The EUA’s issued are as vaccines.

The Supreme Court, in 1905, said in Jacobson v. Massachusetts, that vaccines could be mandatory.

These official numbers, from the authoritative source, are the basis upon which policy is made, changed, and justified. So they are pertinent in that respect, even if you do not believe their accuracy. I think that they are imperfect, but the best available.

In case you have notnoticed, there is a significant economic, social and political upheaval, related to COVID-19. In my opinion, as well as the majority of the American public (and that of most Governments on Earth currently), vaccination is the surest and quickest way to deal with this disease, from a Public Health perspective.

If it is a religious belief on your part, please respect the beliefs of others, and their right to hold different opinions.

The mRNA vaccines are NOT gene therapies!!!!
They are designed to be taken up by dendritic cells (a type of immune cell that presents antigens to T-cells, etc.). In these cells, the mRNA is translated to make viral spike protein, which stimulate the immune system to make antiviral antibody.
Like all mRNAs, the synthetic mRNA is degraded after a few rounds of translation. Thus the product does NOT permanently introduce a new synthetic gene into the body, as gene therapies are designed to do!! All it does is induce anti-viral T-cells, B-cells, and antibodies, like any vaccine!!!! (I have a PhD in molecular biology—I know what I’m talking about!!!!)
I was hoping that these products would be formally FDA approved by now, but unfortuanrley that is not the case. The FDA has issued emergency use authorizations (EUAs) for the vaccines, pending formal approval, and in order to quash the pandemic as soon as possible.
As of last week, I have received two rounds of the Pfizer BioNTech mRNA vaccine, so will be “fully vaccinated” two weeks after my second dose. The only side effect I had was severe fatigue, which went away after 24 hours or so.
Most—if not all—health care providers recommend that we all get vaccinated as soon as we are able. It’s too bad that there is all the disinformation going around, especially in conservative circles. It was President Trump who was behind the development of the vaccines, after all.

I am 3 weeks post second Pfizer vaccine injection. It takes about 3 weeks for IgG, the immunoglobin that is specific for the virus, to be produced. I have people coming down with all sorts of medical issues.
Look up covid toe. It also happens to fingers due to platelet aggregation. They bump their toe, they bleed. Platelets all tied up in clumps cannot plug holes to stop bleeding. I have had a rash now that looks like measles for 4 days. Several cases of pneumonia in the elderly after the shot and nausea, vomiting and massive diarrhea. It was mandated that all healthcare workers get the vaccine twice by most hospital systems.
Don’t be in hurry to get this vaccine.
Period. The media and hospitals have been told to minimize adverse effects or not talk about them at all.

The mRNA technology has been developing for about the last 15 years, getting more well understood and effective.
A lot of revolutionary new therapies are likely to use mRNA in coming years, beyond just vaccines, like battling cancers, and having the body produce the missing substances that produce diabetes, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and other diseases.
You might try paying attention to current events. And this thread gives glory to vaccine shots. They are more holy than God. The passports are already beginning in NY and any day now at the federal level. So my question is valid. Do you think that any of you have the right to force these vaccines on others?

That might be what they are calling “COVID arm”, which is a skin reaction to the vaccine sometimes a week or two after. Usually around the injection site, but sometimes remote or widespread.
Another Freeper reported a widespread, measles-like rash as well.
And 99.9% of everyone rubbed their arm and said, “That’s it?”
