I had a problem with my Chase credit card. Calling Chase and complaining is a waste of time. Their customer service representatives understand English, but they cannot speak English. They called me back and left a message. I listened to the message over and over but I could not understand one word of what she said. Unfortunately there are not very many banks to chose from.
I’ve had a visa card for forever. But twice in the past year someone has managed to get my number & use it fraudulently. I know that’s not Chase’s fault, & they didn’t give me any issues with removing the bad charges. I’m just so fed up with these people & their political bias.
I just saw this regarding a Bank of America card advertised on Babylon Bee:
Maybe it’s time to switch.
Unless you need the ability to do banking in a large geographical area where the presence of many branches that represent your primary bank are needed, you do have an alternative. It is called your hometown bank. It is a good thing to bank where you live as it supports the community.
“I don’t contest the right of these companies to choose their projects. Nor do I deny Chase its right to choose its customers.”
I do. These are not some small single proprietor denying a request for a cake that I can buy in multiple shops. These are major PUBLICLY chartered corporations that aren’t allowed to discriminate for numerous reasons deemed harmful to society. If denying a significant societal benefit because of legal political views isn’t deleterious to the nation at large then nothing is. A corporation is a fictional legal entity and should NOT enjoy the same protections as a small proprietorship or you and me.
