Does this mean the children slaves, who the KooQs told us were packed into the cargo containers, are safe?

Incredible view tonight of the #Suez Canal blocked in both directions by one of the largest containership in the world (#EverGiven, 9811000) stuck sideways due to a power outage. Explore the global vessel movements via Refinitiv #Eikon’s Interactive Map: http://refini.tv/319Lw6O

At least 369 vessels are waiting to transit the canal, the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) said, according to Reuters Container ships, bulk carriers, oil tankers, liquefied natural gas (LNG) vessels, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) vessels had all been stranded for days, according to SCA Chairman Osama Rabie. I thought we didn't need those evil fossil fuels. Just turn on the wind turbines and the solar cells. Right?

This satellite image from Maxar Technologies shows the cargo ship MV Ever Given stuck in the Suez Canal near Suez, Egypt, Saturday, March 27, 2021.

“99-ton ship”
Now that’s impressive. How did they manage to get 20,000 containers on a ship the size of the Niña, Pinta, and Santa Maria?

Still nothing about the demographics of the captain or the obscene gesture presented by the route taken.

“On Monday morning, a canal service provider said the Ever Given container ship — the 99-ton ship that measures 1,312 feet by 107 feet by 47 feet”
What’s it made out of, feathers, nanotubes? What?

I think we’ve learned something here: We need to grease the sides of the canal.

All very interesting. Apparently, a new switching unit that is 1312 ft. long, has been invented to shut off international trade at a moments notice. Nice.
