The American Empire appears to have entered a period, in which it is not entirely clear, who, exactly, is in charge.
When Biden was harangued into holding his first official press conference, he was disoriented;
slow in response to softball questions pre-submitted, w/ his staff-prepared answers reading-ready (no thinking necessary).
Biden's struggle to even look alert underscored the fact that he is president in name only.

Even the obeisant media looked programmed; timidly raising their hands as if told that sudden movements would rattle the old codger.
