The old way:
Raise the water level.
Steel Dams - above and below (canal locations).
Add water in to this temp. dry/wet dock, floating the ship.
Align ship with the more logistics-capable shore. Release water level.
Remove Steel Dams.
Easy as that. I wjll check my shed for some steel plates the size of a canal.
