Here are some things you can do without an ID: Vote. Walk. Purchase chocolate bars. Buy black market drugs.
Here are things you cannot do without an ID: Drive. Open a bank account. Buy alcohol or weed. Cash a check. Get a city bus pass. Travel by plane. Check into a hotel. Go to a disco. Apply for government benefits of any kind.
I don’t get carded at the liquor store, personally, but then again, I’m 54 and probably look at least 44 years of it.
