There will be an unnamed pencil-neck in Washington, D.C. who will make arrangements for non-compliant people who fail to turn-in firearms.

Plan on frozen bank accounts, canceled credit cards, job termination, no water, no electricity, no gas/oil, no internet, and no food deliveries. There are probably only 1/100th of 1% who can effectively live off the grid. Even those people will eventually need medicines, doctors, and surgeons.

We will potentially be entering a dark chapter if things do not change, pronto.

They won't size firearms because they won't have to. They'll just need to datamine the information on what purchases have been made over the last few decades and go from their. Oh, and it won't just be insta-check purchases but also components, ammo, etc.

Then accounts will be frozen, liebs placed where possible, travel restricted, people placed on watch lists, backgrounds flagged, etc.

Let's not forget that there are already laws on the books that infringe on liberty and so many have willfully complied because there is a law to support it. Regardless of whether that law runs in direct contradiction to the 2nd Amendment. Just think of Class 3 weapons.
