Pure slop from Dersh but the only question I have is how does one get the firearm if he is under the eye of the FBI? I am not saying being watched by the FBI makes one lose rights but the sick coincidence is that so many mass shooters were people of interest and under the scope of the FBI let alone local law enforcement or other agencies or institutions .

The FBI would need to have a law to allow them to stop firearms transfers administratively first, before stopping some of the mass murderers from getting firearms. They probably couldn’t legally do anything to stop the transfer in the case of Alissa.

We could try to to come up with something other than universal psychological evaluations, but nothing will stop mass murders from ever happening again. Such incidents are going to happen within a huge population of people. People aren’t perfect, and no society is perfect. The risks are part of life. We might consider the huge numbers of deaths from drug overdoses and other deaths incidental to drug abuse. We might consider the huge numbers of deaths from auto accidents.
