The one where he goes to Skid Row is really and eye opener.

I've watched a number of his videos. He's a good dude. Regardless, the people who live in the neighborhood shouldn't have to share their neighborhood with the homeless.

My idea:

1) Make vagrancy illegal again, i.e. no living/sleeping on public property.
2) Create large tent cities in rural areas outside of major cities. All people guilty of vagrancy would be sent there.
3) Residents would be given accommodations similar to those of military personnel in war zones, i.e. not cruel or unusual.
4) Cities would be staffed with alcohol and drug counselors as well as psychiatrists to deal with alcoholics, drug addicts, and the mentally ill.
5) Cities would have their own police forces to keep out drug dealers and deal with any internal crimes such as rape, violence, and theft.
6) Residents would be provided everything they need to "get back on their feet" and would only be allowed to leave when they had located a place to stay and a job sufficient to pay the rent.
7) Residents would have ability to do work in exchange for vouchers that could be traded in for goods. They would have access to training and computers to search for jobs and places to stay.
8) The cities would exist in perpetuity, or until there were so few vagrants that the few could be handled on a case-by-case basis by local authorities.
