they can nuke to their heart’s content. They touch guns and that division they have in DC will be woefully inadequate.

However, DC should not be the target. It is expected. Not only will they reinforce DC, and not only does it have massive defenses in place already (ones you and I do not know about), but they will chokepoint all entry points.
