The White House on Tuesday confirmed the United States and Iraq next month would hold strategic talks on relations between the two countries and the remaining U.S. troops in Iraq.
“We look forward to renewing our Strategic Dialogue with the Government of Iraq over the month of April,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters.
Psaki said the two countries would... “further clarify that coalition forces are in Iraq solely for the purpose of training and advising Iraqi forces to ensure that ISIS cannot reconstitute.”...
The Associated Press first reported Tuesday that Iraq has sent a formal request to the Biden administration for a date to resume the talks, which would specifically include discussions on the withdrawal of remaining U.S. forces.

It looks like it will be Iraq's turn in April.
The stolen American election is a Global disaster - the resulting fires have barely begun to blaze yet, but soon.
It was a good idea then, and it's an even better idea now.
You go, Joe.
PDJT sought peace and prosperity.
Who will be leading the talks?
I doubt if Uncle Joe will be allowed to fill that role, and VP Kamala giggles too much when she get’s nervous or when she feels guilty.
Iraq is pushing for the removal of remaining US troops (and probably bases) as it is infiltrated thoroughly among its Shia majority by Iran’s mullahs.
This has been going on for quite some time.
It is likely the US will go along with this no matter the strategic importance as capitulating to the Mullahs is an Obama (and Valerie the Iranian Jarret) plan.
They are picking up after the interruption by President Trump which was showing high success in the Middle East.
Another Mid-East disaster in the making - Iranian hegemony and secure Military supply routes through Iraq and Syria, to the Israeli border.
I and many others voted for Trump to get us out of these wars, and that’s why he won. He was sabotaged from doing so.
Better late than never.
Iran and Iraq had a rather nasty war not too long ago.
Lot of deaths on both sides.
Sabotage at every step for any convoy traveling through Iraq.
You killed my son you dirty rat.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
I wish there was something I could say, that would lessen it somehow, but I know that that kind of wound is the hardest to heal.
Your son proved his courage and Patriotism by taking that great risk for us.
May he rest in Heaven, until you are all reunited.
