The Boulder shooter targeted the King Soopers grocery store, which bills itself “Your One-Stop Shop for Kosher Groceries.” The murders came at a time people are busy shopping for Passover. Do we have a motive? An attack on the Jewish community? Or a convenient soft target?
On his way to King Soopers he passed several other grocery store and apparently targeted this particular one. It is also claimed there is a large Jewish community in Boulder.

King Soopers is owned by Kroger.
Two years ago, Kroger banned Open Carry in all their stores.
Customers can still carry guns if they are concealed.
