Mass shootings exist because of mass public disarmament. Have you ever heard of a mass shooting where it was among a group of armed individuals? Gun laws are designed to prevent you from reacting to violence rather than being able to protect yourself.

I recently saw a picture of a highly modified Glock 19. It was modified to look like a Nerf gun and had a 50 round drum magazine. Banning these will be a whack a mole. Other alternatives will replace banned items.
If this passes, I think a huge black market will open for hand made AR type rifles. Blueprints are out there. Since the platform would then be illegal, IMO, these black market guns are more likely to be full auto. Turns out, criminals aren’t particular with which laws they break.
