How?
Shipping company is Evergreen, but the ship name is “Ever Given”.
Hellary probably picked that name thinking with all that corruption her purse would be “ever green” with cash...
Maybe the Iranians are messing with GPS satellite signals again?
My father was the last US civilian contractor to leave the Canal Zone before it was handed over to the Chinese, err, the Panamanians.
The ship that has cut off the Suez is "EVERGREEN",
and the name is not given correctly in many media.
EVERGREEN is SS code for HRC. Right?
The call sign is: H3RC. <==========
one more thing.
This hazard A (major) cargo container ship
was going from CHINA to Holland.
What/who are in the containers?
Evergreen. Really?
Great $64T dollar question: what’s in the containers.
I’m not one for coincidences in these circumstances. If that ship represents “HRC”, she is going into the drink, and whatever is inside them, maybe we’ll learn a great deal more...
Ironic that “EVERGREEN” in 30 foot letters is sprawled across an ugly barge surrounded by a desert, btw. ;^)
Given the ‘Evergreen’ and ‘H3RC’ and Secret Service code for HRC being “evergreen”...
gotta be a “And that’s the Rest of the Story” in our future.
The ship is headed to Rotterdam from China.
I wonder what plans China has to shut down the canal when push comes to shove?
Seems like something like this or worse would be a great distraction tactic by China to invade Taiwan while we are all focused elsewhere.
An article I read said the ship suffered a total blackout which caused the loss of control.
The largest container ships can carry 24,000, 20 foot units.
24,000, 20 foot units laid end on end would stretch a distance of 90 miles.
We are screwed.
Well, considering Evergreen is a Taiwan based shipping company, what do you think the odds are of their colluding with the Communist Chinese?
“He said no USA ports are currently designed to load or unload these giant ships.”
We have ports that can handle these, else these ships would never be built.
Besides a ship like this never offloads it’s entire load in a single port.
I was thinking it’s possible somebody could want to shut down the Suez - keeps some warships from moving too if that happens
This is what happens when “the ship hits the sand”.
