Standard commodity type razors are are not good enough for the millennial crowd. The bearded hipster types thinks using a boutique razor gives them an edge with their gender attraction choice.
A Bulldog.....38 special his pocket and a razor in his shoe.
I just cancelled...had to send a separate email to explain why: “The real reason I cancelled is because you went woke. “Values misalignment”? Sorry, I liked your razors, not your political message.”
A .44 Triple-lock in his pocket and a W.R.Case XX 5/8 cut throat in his shoe. Haven’t bought a razor blade in years. Over the years have managed to pick up few Cases, several Sheffield brands (IXL, A. Wright and Sons) and a few German pre-WWI Solingens. The pre-war Solingens really are superior at holding an edge, by far. Strop the Cases once a week when using one and my face is as smooth as a babies bum. That’s a good trick when you’re 75.
Agreed. It’s difficult the avoid purchasing Gillette products because there are so many others besides razors, shaving cream, and deodorant. But I do my best to refrain from purchasing the obvious ones.

When gilette went woke, I ditched them and switched to a very old school Safety Razor. Tried different double edged blades and found the Dorco ones to be quite excellent. You can get 100 blades for less that $10.00. The Egyptian “Shark” blades were extremely sharp as well, but a little more aggressive in my safety razor so I settled on the Dorco.
