Donald Trump advanced his quest on Monday to purge elected Republicans who refused to go along with his attempt to steal the 2020 presidential election, announcing an endorsement in Georgia in an effort to unseat a key election official.
The secretary of state, Brad Raffensperger, infuriated Trump last year by refusing a point-blank request to fake the presidential election result in Georgia.
Jody Hice, a Republican member of Congress who supported Trump’s effort to overturn Joe Biden’s win, announced on Monday he would challenge Raffensperger in a summer 2022 primary. Trump endorsed Hice immediately.
“Unlike the current Georgia secretary of state, Jody leads out front with integrity,” Trump said in a statement that repeated his false claims of election fraud and declared his “complete and total endorsement” of Hice.

Now Trump was the one stealing the election? Not the workers filmed counting and re-counting the same ballots that they took out from under a table the moment the Republican poll watchers had left for the night? Raffensberg refusing to allow a forensic audit is now heroic-Raffensberg! And who disguised as a mild-mannered corrupt official, fights a never-ending battle for doing what he was bribed for as Integrity Man!
That paper is not fit to wipe yourself with. I have no use for fairy tales masquerading as news. Ratberger is guilty-guilty-guilty and Trump never told him to invent anything. He just wanted the actual election results, not the manipulated ones.

I would totally back Jody Hice for GA Secretary of State, but that would mean finding someone new for the 10th US House District.

Don’t I know it’s a crap paper? That’s beside the point. They’ve worn themselves out with the old narrative, constantly calling the election fraud that happened “Trump’s baseless claims,” “Trump’s false claims,” “Trump’s lies,” and they notice it isn’t working, 1. because it puts them on the defensive, and 2. because it doesn’t convince anyone who isn’t already convinced that the election was fair and square.
So here comes the new narrative, that the steadfast hero Ratberg bravely and selflessly stopped the evil racist President from stealing this election. 1. Puts Trump supporters on the defensive, as you just were when you said “Trump never told him to invent anything”. 2. It might convince Trump supporters to abandon Trump as a discredited fraud by gaslighting them into believing that he’s a discredited fraud.
Why a British left wing rag is lavishing so much time and effort into a narrative that only interests Americans personally, and expects Americans from the heartland to somehow take an interest in a British paper and read this article so they can become gas lighted by a preposterous new narrative is beyond me.
But something profound might be happening. My late brother-in-law the ninja told me that when a man’s jugular vein is cut and his brain is dying, he will do strange things, like picking up a valise and running around in circles, or dancing, until he collapses. It can be hoped that this inanity is a symptom of the death throes of the Left, and will be followed by their total collapse; i.e., their jugular is bleeding out, their brain is dying for lack of oxygen. Without ousting Ratberg? Lots of luck. I’ll vote for her, but Ratty will still be in charge of the counting apparatus until if and when she wins.

Dems are not far off from winning in GA without cheating. Every day Trump voters die. Every day Democrats move to Atlanta, Savannah, etc. We’ve seen this movie before in other red states and it has a bad ending.
