As many in the West cringed while watching the video of President Joe Biden stumbling up the stairs to Air Force 1, the Chinese were in Anchorage saying there was a "strong smell of gunpowder" in the air, one of the words Beijing uses when it is contemplating war.

The communist dictators are clearly feeling their oats and testing the Biden administration.
At the Alaska conference, Yang Jiechi, China's chief diplomat, used prepared comments to scold the U.S. by blasting it for racist policies and even mentioned Black Lives Matter, an unexpected frontal assault on the American delegation. Obviously, Beijing is watching the U.S. administration's response to an array of domestic troubles that began last summer with the George Floyd race riots, and it smells blood in the water.
The Chinese delegation's race allegation was intended to portray Beijing as the protector of all Asians as opposed to America's failure to protect minorities. Also, its media mouthpiece, the Global Times, ran a long article the same day (March 18) entitled "Elite US Groups Accomplices of Crimes Against Asian Americans." That piece was palpably race-baiting and effective.
The Times' article reminded the Chinese reader of the lethal shootings of Asian-Americans last week at three massage and spa parlors in Atlanta and then called out an alleged "surge in anti-Asian sentiment and hate crimes directed at Asian Americans." Those incidents, wrote the Times, are evidence of a widening social division, which it labeled "deepening Sinophobia." One can almost feel Chinese nationalism rising as they read about the racist Americans.

Every new American administration is tested by our adversaries, and even by our “friends”. Some are found to be incompetent and weak (Carter) and others garner respect, or even a measure of fear (Reagan, Trump). Biden’s is by far the weakest and least competent start of any in my lifetime. Probably of any in the history of the Republic. It would be laughable if it weren’t so freaking dangerous.
These self loathing, America hating Democrats were stunned by the Chinese in Alaska. They went there expecting kinship with the people they admire and were planning to apologize for Trump. Blinken and the lady with purple hair who sat next to him all but cried when the Chinese were just so mean.

I think you are correct. Blinken was expecting to meet with an appreciative delegation of friendly Chinese, grateful because Biden is so pro-China.

Most problematic w/ Biden kowtowing to China is the world’s reserve currency. Right now its the US dollar, but when Biden causes the U.S. to lose the leadership position the ntl debt becomes very real. Right now the dollar remains artificially stable because every country conducting commodity trades and other financial actions trade with U.S. dollars.
China wants (A) either a basket currency or (B) the Chinese Yuan (preference is the latter). As China asserts its influence around the world, changes in the world’s reserve currency will happen, and it does, it will be like someone pulled the plug on the U.S. financial system.
NOTE WELL Many in Biden’s administration and the Democratic/Republican UNI Party are paid off by the Chinese, pocketing their 30 pieces of silver as the struggling Americans get crucified.

Friction with China is a show. The friction is there to conceal the fact that China owns this administration. They have more than just the laptop. If they release their info this administration is finished.
