Equally applicable to history deniers in the US and the West.
Throughout all of recorded history there has never been a common cultural consensus in the entire region. Such a consensus certainly does not exist today nor will it exist anytime soon. Conflict and struggle , often bloody, will continue long into the future.
Similar things are happening in the USA.
i am sure Israel has prepared those mountains with the necessary bunkers to protect its citizens for when the time comes.
A former acquaintance I knew worked sites in Israel for a long time.
They would follow the dump trucks from the Mount and scout for stuff.
The Israeli government stopped it because it was “disruptive”.
He maintained that no one in charge wanted archeology to prove the existence of the Kingdom of Israel.
Disgusting and just like antifa and BLM actions in destroying American history, proving yet again the ideological ties between leftism and jihadism.
Thanks SJackson.
One of *those* topics.
The site was excavated between 1980 and 1989 by the late Professor Adam Zertal, who identified it as Joshua’s Altar as described in the Books of Deuteronomy, (27; 1-9) and Joshua (8; 30-35). The animal remains at the site contained thousands of burnt bones of year-old male, exclusively kosher, animals. They were burned in an open flame 3,250 years ago—the time generally identified as the period of ancient Jewish settlement of the Land of Israel under Joshua. Other remains found at the site included earrings and scarabs made in Egypt at the time of Ramses II, the Egyptian pharaoh often associated with the story of the Exodus from Egypt...
Although initially controversial, Zertal’s general finding that the site is around 3,300 years old and is a Jewish historical site, where sacrifices were carried out in keeping with biblical guidelines, has become widely accepted—although many continue to dispute the specific identification with Joshua.
Scanning through the comments, I noticed no one mentioning the obvious... that the Israelite PEOPLE, not the land, of Israel are the Lord’s people.
And they still are, though they may turn their own backs to Him.
Sure, the Arabs can destroy all evidence that the Jewish people were there in the lands given them BEFORE they (the Arabs) were there but the Holy One knows, and remembers, His People still.
I leave the scripture chase to you the reader... the exercise will do you good.
