It would be very interesting to know why you feel that the Navy men were such problems as supervisors.
Have you been in the military?
Did they hurt your feelings?
Did they fail to engage in a discussion as to why you thought you should not do as told?
Just curious as to the reasons for your opinion about Navy men being problems as supervisors.
First, the worst Navy supervisor lied about having been a Seal, ran off with the married HR lady (win-win) and stabbed other employees in the back to get a promotion. He hired contractors who lost us a lot of key data and did a crappy job of programming.
The other one was a short guy who got my contract ended at the Foxwoods Casino because when he told the company meeting that he was locking down all the settings on the Windows light clients I foolishly raised my hand and suggested that mouse speed be left alone, as living with tge wrong setting was miserable. He was 5’4” and acted like he had to compensate. My last one was cool, though. I respecf the military, but some of them are jerks.
His problem is that he needed infantry bosses. Real men don’t the real jobs nobody else has the cahones for.
No bias here heh.
