I’m just checking because I think my memory may be faulty: Am I recalling correctly that the colonists in 1776 responded to King George’s tyrannical rule by writing a sternly worded letter, followed by throwing up their hands and saying “What else can we do?” Yeah, I think I remember that, and the fact that they carefully watched every word they said and laid low, so as not to be labeled “domestic terrorists.” In fact, now I’m recalling that famous quote by Patrick Henry, “Give me liberty, pretty please, or don’t, because God knows I don’t want any trouble.” Yeah, it’s all coming back to me now.

There’s really nothing we can do.

Only the Chinese government can reign in the out-of-control spending by threatening to close the Bank of China dollar window, the closing of which would make it impossible for Wal-Mart or Amazon to import goods from China.

If necessary, the Chinese government might have to insist on treaty-based rights to supervise the spending of Chinese-selected domestic governments on pain of closing that Bank of China dollar window.

Our economy can not function without stuff from China. Our illegals would go home with their employer’s tools if their US pay could not buy Chine-made goodies. Our $100,000 class public pension recipients would not be able to enjoy foreign travel.

Most colonists were barely aware of British rule as they lived in farms far from cities.

It was Hessian bad behavior that mobilized the colonists.

Until we personally sufferer physically or economically, we will merely complain about the wasteful spending.

If you want action, you’ll get it, since they intend to kick us hard and repeatedly. They just want to loot the Treasury first.
