“The final piece asks companies to ‘not support, donate to or endorse politicians, political campaigns or political action committees that promoted false conspiracy theories surrounding the 2020 presidential elections (or otherwise acted in ways contrary to a representative democracy)’.”
A former federal prosecutor, Glenn Kirschner, has launched a campaign to force “every business in America” to take a pledge that states, in part, that “The 2020 presidential election was free and fair, and produced accurate, reliable results.”
Any American business refusing to take this pledge, regardless of their own personal beliefs, will presumably be subjected to the cancel mob.
The Huffington Post reports:
A former federal prosecutor has launched a campaign to press American businesses to openly reject the core assertion that former President Donald Trump and many in his party continue to make, that the 2020 election was somehow illegitimate.
“The 2020 presidential election was free and fair, and produced accurate, reliable results,” reads the explanation behind the “Democracy Pledge” that Glenn Kirschner hopes to put before “every company in the country” in the coming months. “Those who sought to undermine or otherwise refused to acknowledge these results, share responsibility for the civil unrest after the election, culminating in violence at the United States Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.”
The pledge includes a declaration of “valuing, affirming and supporting democracy,” and of affirming “that the election of Joseph R. Biden and Kamala Harris was free, fair and legitimate.”

“What we’re trying to do is force companies’ hands so they can’t be agnostic,” Kirschner said.
There’s probably something wrong with this, right?
The fact that this Kirschner clown was a federal prosecutor is what is most scary about this. Maintaining lists of people that offend you? Reminds me of how the Nazis forced German Jewish shop-owners to put a Star of David on their entry doors.
Considering that Michigan State Court of Claims Judge Christopher Murray ruled last week that the election there was illegal, this is simply economic coercion. It’s the kind of thing seen in Russia or Belarus.

Agreed.
My first thought: How does anyone this weird hold any position in a prosecutor’s office?
The amazing thing is that Kirschner holds a law degree in the first place. You are taught in law school ethics that you must defend an accused if they can’t find anyone else - thus, famed trial lawyer Louie Nizer wrote many years ago that he would have felt compelled to defend Hitler on criminal charges if they could not have found a defense attorney of similar caliber. Here, you have this clown wanting to shut down people over a civil disagreement and the exercise of their First Amendment rights to speak publicly about what is the truth - this was a stolen, fraudulent election of a barely sentient individual propped up by a leftwing conspiracy funded by tech and Wall Street billionaires.
“I swear to Moloch this holy oath that I shall render unconditional obedience to the Leader of the Amerikan Republic and people, Josef Biden, commander in chief of the armed forces, and that as a brave citizen I shall at all times be prepared to give my life for this oath.”
I am no lawyer, but a long life has led me to understand that.
When I was young, I wondered many times how defense lawyers could represent people who where clearly guilty of terrible crimes.
As the years passed, I realized that the defense lawyer had a duty equal to the determination of innocence and that was to ensure that even the most reprehensible criminal must be tried and convicted according to the law. In other words, without an adequate defense lawyer, the court runs the risk of becoming a kangaroo court either accidentally or on purpose.
Roger Stone’s treatment as well as many other recent examples illustrate the importance of the defense attorney.
Guessing I’m going to have add another category to my almost 70 pages of banned companies.
Businesses found not supporting the regime will have DOJ political enforcement squads going through their affairs, and Bidentifa mobs destroying their properties and threatening to kill the managers.
Every case he was involved in should be looked at...
Simple... every business that wants to do this can put a sign on their windows saying so.
The 2016 election on the other hand ... That was colluded/meddled/hacked ... amiright?
Didn’t Hitler demand loyalty oaths?
How can they know. They still haven’t been meaningfully checked.
